Therapy for People of All Ages and Walks of Life

White Flowers
Newcastle Psychology Services is a supportive and inclusive space for clients of all ages, identities, cultural backgrounds, and lived experiences, including neurodivergent and neurotypical clients.
What is Therapy?

Therapy is a broad term that describes the many different ways we support clients and the techniques we use to convey ideas. In essence though, it's about sharing a time and space simply to talk.

Some common approaches include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Narrative Therapy

My approach is flexible and always tailored to your individual needs.

Why consider Therapy?

Therapy provides a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can think out loud, explore difficult emotions, and identify patterns that may be causing distress or holding you back.

People seek therapy for many reasons, including:

  • Overcoming specific fears or phobias

  • Coping with grief and loss

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Support for parenting

  • Anger management

  • Anxiety, social phobia, or panic attacks

  • Obsessive-compulsive tendencies

  • Work-related stress

  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress

  • Simply feeling 'out of step' and not sure why

Walk and Talk Therapy

If you prefer open spaces, fresh air, and movement, walk and talk therapy might be a good option for you. Following an initial intake session, we can discuss whether this is the right fit for you.
