Referrals

Referrals
You don't need a referral to see a psychologist. However, if you want to access Medicare rebates or other funding support, a referral is required as outlined below.
Medicare Rebates (Mental Health Care Plan)
If your GP provides you with a Mental Health Care Plan, you can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. You'll pay the full session fee and receive the Medicare rebate (currently $96.65 for standard sessions) back into your account.
NDIS Funding
We welcome NDIS participants who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.
Sessions are charged at the current NDIS price guide rate for psychology services. No referral is required.
Workers Compensation and CTP

If you have an approved claim, you can access:
-
Workers Compensation – your employer's insurer covers the cost with an approved claim
-
CTP (Compulsory Third Party) Insurance – for injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents.
